Fox ESS CQ7 Battery Sizing & Scalability

The number of Fox ESS CQ7 battery modules that can be installed depends on the compatible Fox ESS inverter being used.

How CQ7 Battery Stacks Are Configured

Each CQ7 battery stack requires 1 × CQ7-M Master battery, with additional CQ7-S Slave batteries added to achieve the required storage capacity.

For example:

• 2-battery stack = 1 × Master + 1 × Slave

• 3-battery stack = 1 × Master + 2 × Slaves

• 4-battery stack = 1 × Master + 3 × Slaves

Multiple Battery Stacks

The H3 Pro supports up to 2 separate battery stacks, while the H3 Plus supports up to 3 stacks.

Each individual stack requires its own CQ7-M Master battery.

For larger configurations, the optional Fox ESS battery base may also be required to arrange the modules across two columns, depending on the final system layout.
